I woke up in the morning to a note left by my middle-of-the-night self. It simply read "spreadsheet fireworks." Using the individual sheets of a spreadsheet as a frame, I made a simple user-controlled animation. It's pretty much a digital flipbook.
Exploring the spreadsheet flipbook further, I made a series of clocks with different time intervals. As the intervals grow smaller, the number of sheets required increases and the animation starts to experience serious lag. The impact of this is a really clunky animation of the passage of time, slowing down the experience of an hour, not just by detailing it, but because of the increased information.
