Lab 1: Digital I/O

    Working on this lab alongside Sammy and Cam, and with additional support from Vince was a helpful way to get introduced to hardware. Vince, helpfully, forewarned me of a few complications so I was able to follow along with the images of the wiring in a fairly straight-forward way from there. When trying to send the code to the Arduino board, I got stuck on the board selection, mistakingly selecting the Arduino Nano, instead of the Nano IoT. Not getting great feedback from the IDE was a bit frustrating. I wish I could have diagnosed the issue myself, but I'm happy that I was able to get it working eventually.

    As I was working through my primary issue, I attempted to map out the current in my own way. (Working towards drawing proper schematics!) I realized that I wasn't quite sure what was happening when the current was sent back to the Arduino. Do the pins act independently? How does the current travel through them? I'll be looking to have a clearer understanding of this in the upcoming labs.
